Join us every Wednesday at 6:30 PM for a unique juggling experience at Washington Square Park, hosted by the NYU Violet Circus Arts club and sponsored by Flow Juggle. This event isn't just about juggling; it's a journey through time, set against the backdrop of Greenwich Village's cultural tapestry.

Why Juggling?Juggling is more than an entertaining skill. It's a holistic activity that enhances hand-eye coordination, sharpens concentration, and refines reflexes. It's an excellent way to relieve stress and uplift your mood. The Spin Jam juggling sessions are perfect for both seasoned jugglers and beginners. Here, you can hone your skills, socialize, and immerse yourself in a fun, engaging environment.

A Glimpse into the PastAs you juggle, soak in the historical essence of Washington Square Park. This site has been a marshland, a gift to freed African-American slaves, a venue for public executions, and a communal burial ground with over 20,000 bodies beneath its grounds.

The Heart of Folk and Beatnik CultureIn the 1950s and 1960s, the park emerged as a hub for folk music and the beatnik scene. It was the cradle for groups like the Village Stompers, echoing the rhythms of the thriving local music scene.

So why not give it a try? Head to Washington Square Park on Wednesday evenings and join the NYU Violet Circus Arts club for their Spin Jam juggling meetings. Not only will you have fun and stay active, but you'll also have the opportunity to learn about the rich history of this iconic park and experience its vibrant culture.

The Village's Indie Underground LegacyGreenwich Village has been a nurturing ground for indie underground celebrities, including the iconic band Blondie, who started their journey in local clubs.

Join the Vibrant CommunityDon't miss the chance to be part of this lively gathering. The NYU Violet Circus Arts club's Spin Jam juggling meetings at Washington Square Park offer more than just skill development.
