So, you’ve probably heard the news: the European Juggling Convention (EJC) won’t be happening in Ireland this year. Bummer, right? But don’t worry, the EJC team isn’t giving up that easily. They’re working their butts off to make sure the convention still happens - and you can help!

The EJC is the biggest not-for-profit juggling event in the world, attracting some of the best jugglers, acrobats, stage and fire performers from around the globe, as well as scores of enthusiasts or those who are simply curious1. With over 40 years of history, it’s steeped in tradition and has a wealth of events to look forward to1.

After facing challenges with sites and insurance in Ireland (thanks, insurance crisis), the focus has shifted to working with external teams to make something happen elsewhere, aiming for the same dates. The Executive Committee of the European Juggling Association (EJA), the EJA board, and previous EJC organizers are working with Team Ireland to make this possible at another location. Currently, a strong alternative is being worked on in another country for the same dates. Exciting stuff!

Join the EJA Community Big Top Meeting

An EJA Community Big Top Meeting has been scheduled for Thursday 13th April 2000 (8pm) CEST, 1800 (6pm) UTC. This meeting is an opportunity for previous team members, convention organizers and those with connections to sites to come together and discuss how they can help make the EJC happen this year. If you’re able to attend, don’t miss out!
