About the Boston Juggling Festival
The 5th Annual Boston Juggling Festival (formerly JuggleMIT) is an inclusive, 3-day celebration of juggling, flow arts, and object manipulation of all sorts. Founded at MIT on a snowy day in 2014, BJF is now the premier juggling festival in Massachusetts, attracting professional and aspiring circus artists from across the country. BJF is also a welcoming festival, where beginners and pros alike can share their skills and make lasting memories. This year's festival includes 3 days of workshops, 2 juggling shows, a 1-trick contest, a dedicated sand-court volleyclub play arena, and juggling games. So what are you waiting for? WORKSHOPS
Apply to teach a workshop at BJF!
The Boston Juggling Festival is all about sharing skills and helping each other learn. We provide a full roster of workshops. The schedule will be made available here a few days before the festival. We also encourage impromptu workshops. You may put your requests and announcements on the whiteboard in the main juggling hall.
There is no sign-up for workshops. Just show up, participate, and have fun!

About the MIT Juggling Club:
The MIT Juggling Club (MITJC) is the oldest "drop in" juggling club in continuous operation in the world. Based on radiocarbon dating and fossil records, our group sprung to life around 1970 as the MIT Unicycling Club. In 1974, Arthur Lewbel created the MIT Juggling Club, which soon merged with the MIT Unicycling Club. Nowadays, the MITJC welcomes jugglers, unicyclers, and movement artists of all kinds, ages, and skills levels. MITJC meets every Sunday (including summers and holidays) from 3-6 PM in the lobby of Building 10 at MIT. (If the weather is nice, we usually migrate outside of Lobby 10 to Killian Court, and if the weather is not so nice but Lobby 10 is booked for another activity, you can find us in Lobby 13 or Lobby 7 instead.) For directions, see this interactive map of MIT's campus. MITJC hosts the annual Boston Juggling Festival (BJF) and other events throughout the year.

When and where is BJF? BJF 2018 will be taking place from September 14-16, 2018 at Walker Memorial, located on MIT's campus at 142 Memorial Drive, Cambridge, MA 02142.
I'd like to teach at BJF! How can I sign up? BJF wouldn't be what it is without our amazing teachers. Interested in teaching? It's easy! Just fill out this 2018 BJF Teachers Application!
I'm interested in vending at BJF. What it is the process for becoming a festival vendor? Festival vendors are selecting year-by-year. You can apply to vend at BJF using this 2018 BJF Vendors Application. Vending tables will be provided free-of-charge to approved vendors this year, though we encourage vendors to donate an item to our volunteer raffle.
Why did the festival change names from "JuggleMIT" to "BJF"? In short, "JuggleMIT" was regularly confused with the name of our juggling club (MITJC). We wanted a name that made it clear that our festival was indeed...a festival! While we are sad to say goodbye to the name "JuggleMIT", the Boston Juggling Festival will always be uniquely MIT-inspired and will continue to embody the open and welcoming feeling of the campus as a whole.
